Built in the 16th century, this charming self catering apartment is located on the 2nd floor of Bretby Hall east wing, surrounded by park land and close to the town of Burton-on-Trent.The hall has recently been renovated with totally new interior which has been comfortably furnished with new drapery and lighting. The apartment is serviced by a private lift/elevator directly into the entrance hall.

The lounge/dining room is complete with flat screen TV and stereo system. Kitchen is well equipped with all modern appliances and includes washer/dryer, dishwasher, fridge, cooker, microwave etc.

 The apartment has a large master bedroom with double bed, and a 2nd bedroom with a single bed. finally there is a bathroom/wc complete with power shower and cloakroom/wc.

Outside

The main approach from the A511 to the Estate can be accessed through stone walled gates, the winding estate road leads through the grounds to the Hall.

From the allocated parking on the east wing side, there is a pedestrian pathway leading to the front Main Entrance, which is electronically operated with intercom/CCTV.

 The Estate’s parkland lies to the south of the Hall with the well maintained lawns leading down to the various water’s edges, where walks that can be enjoyed at the foot of the Estate. The lawns are interspersed with trees and shrubs and provide a beautiful outlook over the valley and surrounding countryside.

Location

Bretby Hall is a prime commuter location, being approximately  9 miles from the M42/A42, which gives ease of access to Birmingham and the whole of the Midlands, including the National Exhibition Centre. Local facilities include Burton Golf Club, at the nearby nature reserve there is provision for sailing on Blithfield reservoir where one can also purchase daily fishing permits. Bretby Country Club and The Ashby Road Tennis and Squash Club also provide excellent facilities.

Directions

From Birmingham City Centre follow the M6 South and take the M42 North exit, follow the M42 and at the end of the motorway the A42 North, exit at Junction 13 Ashby de la Zouch. Follow the A511 towards Burton on Trent, Bretby Hall can be found on the right indicated by Bretby Hall sign.

(Air) Birmingham International Airport is 50km and East Midlands Airport is 30km.

(Rail) Burton on Trent and Derby stations provide commuter services to Leicester, Nottingham and Birmingham with regular connections to London.
